Max Turns 1

Our great dane Max turns 1 pretty soon. Mommy is going to breed him with Baylee to get some baby great danes. Montana is a great place to breed animals. Max is way bigger than baylee now. He is a handsome dog.

We have almost 30 rabbits now. Time to eat some more this month. Both of our goats are due in May. Mom said she will make as much ice cream as I want with the goat milk. woo hoooooo.

I am 3 weeks into learning to read. I think dad is getting frustrated. I can't remember all of my first sounds. I always forget A and D. It is pretty hard to me. Just saying.

Learning To Read

Well it is official, I am learning to read. Pa started the BOOK with me this week. Teach Your Child To Read In 100 Easy Lessons. I think I have been frustrating him, but I don't like to sit still. So far I have learning A, E, M, S, T sounds. Writing is a lot harder than it looks, I must say.

I got to play with clay the other day at moms pottery class. I was supposed to go play with Cade, but he was sleeping. We are halfway through January and no snow on the ground at all. Our bunnies had more babies this week. We have bunnies all over the place.

Pa takes me to play at the school park sometimes. I love that park. It is so funnnnnn.

Oh and I almost forgot. I am 4 now. That is quattro for those who don't know english. We had cupcakes and birthday cake.

Stomach Bug

Man I got a stomach bug Saturday and was puking all day. Other than that, I have been fit as a fiddle. We went to Jacobs house on thanksgiving and I got to play with his guns. I also got to play with Caid last week for a little while. He has an awesome train set.

Winter has arrived, so we are inside more. Our bunnies are having babies any day. I think pa is going to cook some of the older bunnies today. :(
Wyatt is starring in a play this weekend. He is playing Flick in a christmas story.

Pa is going to start teaching me to read in January, I can't wait.

New House

This is the longest I have gone since I was born without blogging. Sorry. We moved into a new house at the end of august. It is awesome and has big willow trees for my swings.

August was hot. We played down at the river a few times and swam at the pool.
Dad took me hiking back to Baker lake in Darby last month. Fish galore and great water to play in.
He made me hike the whole 2 miles in and out.

Someone hit dad's truck today and totalled it. So we'll have to get a new car next week. We went to a dinner and auction at school tonight. It was a blast and I made some new friends.

Learning to Swim

I have been taking swimming lessons this week at the Stevi pool. My instructor Isaac has taught me to blow bubbles, get rings underwater, float on my back, float on my stomach, jump off of the  lifeguard stand and much more. I love the water like my brothers and sisters. Cousin Max and uncle Jaceson are visiting this week. Uncle Jaceson took us to get a milkshake at Valley Drugs, yum, yum...
We also went through a car wash. Michael and Wyatt scared me and said it was a monster.

Blodgett Canyon with Callos

We went hiking in blodgett canyon yesterday with the Callo family. It was a nice easy hike with spectacular scenery. The weather is awesome here right now. Our chickens started laying eggs this week. We are getting one egg per day. I think 2 of them are roosters, though, because they crow in the morning.

Pa built me a cool swing out front last month from logs and scrapwood. I love it.

Abbey just left for camp merriewoode this week. I'll miss you Abs. It's just me and the boys this week while mom and Abs are in NC. Woohoooooo.

Sunny Days are Here Again

Things are definitely warming up in Montana. The grass is green and the farmers are planting and watering. I went to see Michael, Abbey and Wyatt get some awards at school today. Then I played with my friend Angus at the school park for a while. It was beautiful weather for playing at the park. I learned a song about mountains that mommy and daddy love to hear me sing.

We have 6 chickens now for eggs. Don't ask me when they are going to start laying eggs. Abbey and I dig up worms for them to eat. I love to dig. I get bored during the day while my siblings are in school, but they will be out friday for 4 months. Awesome.
