Day with Mom

Dad and my brothers and sisters went to Aunt Jenny's house to play paintball this weekend. So I stayed home and had a fun day with mom.
I took 8 steps by myself yesterday.

First Birthday

Well, I turned 1 year old this past week. What a milestone. We ate a little cake and I got a couple of cool toys. I walker and a little truck. Wyatt and Abbey push me around on the truck.
Tres, Tristan, Garrett and Gavin came up to see me with Uncle Drew.
Nana also came and grandma and grandpa.
Uncle Jaceson, aunt Jenny, Max, and Emma stopped by.
Aunt Steph and Uncle Josh came late after the crowd had left.

Dad took me to the park this week. I love the park. I love to swing.

I took my first few steps this week without help.

Standing up

Cool, I figured out how to stand up now without holding onto anything.
Just takes a little balance.
I like to push stuff around, too.
Like the bottom of our old bar stool.

I also figured out how to climb up on mom and dad's bed.
That kind of freaked them out a little.

I get to eat lots of different foods now like ice cream and banana cream pudding.

Eat off the ground

Crawling is great because I can get around and eat stuff off the ground. Hey you don't know if it is good unless you taste it, right?
When mom and dad see me stick stuff in my mouth, they pry my jaws apart to get it out.
I just swat them away.

I love to go down the slide at the park. Parks are cool. And I love to swing.

Obamunism is sweeping the nation. Pa says it is unbelievable that most of america support crooks. He says if you support a crook, then that makes you a crook, an accomplice.

Anyway,
Thanksgiving is coming up. I think we are going to grandmas house.

Fell down stairs

Mom and dad kept warning me to stay away from the stairs.
I tried to get something off of the first step and rolled sideways down 6 steps.
Ouch!!!
I am okay, though.

I have 4 teeth now, so I can eat real food. Nilla wafers are my favorite.

Mom and I watched papa and the kids spar and break boards at the Battle of Kennesaw. That was cool.

And as always, I LOVE my green swing out back.

Our rabbits had more babies this week. We are going to be overrun with rabbits pretty soon.
Our great dane Bailey is growing faster than me. Maybe someday, I'll catch up to her. She stomps me.

Choked on a penny

I scared mom and dad last week by putting a penny in my mouth and choking on it. After gagging for a while, I spit it out.
I love my green swing, it's awesome.
Being able to crawl is great. I can get into everything.

Mom and dad carried me up Kennesaw mountain, that was cool.
I also got to go to the animal farm for my cousin Jacobs birthday.

Spent night at Aunt Jenny's House

Woo Hoo, I got to spend the night out at Aunt Jennifer's house. We went over on Sunday and swam in the pool, then spent the night. It was a fun labor day.
I got to ride on the golf cart with Aunt Jenny.
This was my first labor day.

It sure has been quiet around the house with Michael, Abbey, and Wyatt in school now.

Aunt Melanie came to visit me last week, too.
She brought a 30 inch pizza with her.

New Puppy

Mommy got me a new puppy last week. A great dane. Bailey is 9 weeks old and already bigger than me. She jumps on me when I am crawling around. So I sneak up behind her and grab her tail while she is sleeping. My teeth have been hurting this week. I have a second one coming in.
I kept dad up all night thursday. I was testing his endurance.

Our rabbits had 8 baby bunnies last week. It is becoming a zoo around here.

Diaper hat

Abbey made me a cool diaper hat today. She thinks I am some sort of a doll or something.
We got a good laugh today when dad messed up Wyatts hair 3 days before school starts.
Needless to say, he will be going with a mohawk, sort of.
We got another bird this week. That makes 2 cockatiels.

First tooth

I have been hanging out with my dad and brothers for the last few days. Mom and Abbey have been out and about.
My first tooth is coming out. It is making me want to chew on everything.
I am getting stronger and can pull myself up on furniture and stand up now.
I can't wait to walk , run and swim.

destin florida

Papa took Michael and Abbey down to Destin last week for a quick trip.
I am crawling around fast now. I can get to what I want now. :)
No stopping me now except gates.

visit to see papa

Mom took Abs, Wy, Mike and I up to Harkers Island, NC to visit PaPa. We then went to Myrtle beach for a couple of days. Dad stayed behind to work and fix up around the house. The beach is neat.
Other than that , is has been a lazy summer around here.
I crawled off of the bed yesterday, that hurt. I'll have to remember that big dropoff before I crawl around on those things any more.
I am crawling all over the place now, I can get to almost anything I want. Also, being able to sit up myself is nice.

Shots

I got 4 shots in the leg last week. That is not cool. I felt awful all week.
Papa took me swimming a few times, though, which was fun. Mommy made me sick one night. She fed me some yogurt and I puked all over the place.
Poppy, Mike, Abs, Wyatt, Zoe, Ethan, Kendal, Courtney and their dad took a boat out on Lake Allatoona last weekend. I wish I could have gone. Maybe next year.

I am getting strong. I can scoot myself around now and I am getting my legs up under me to crawl now. We went down to grandma and grandpas last night for grandpa's birthday. I got to eat some cake and ice cream, yum!!!!

Rolling Off Bed

Well,
In the true spirit of the kampel children, I rolled off of the bed last week. Luckily, papa put a bean bag down there before he left for work. Like uncle Jaceson says, once a kampel kid makes it past 5, they are pretty much bulletproof.
Anyway, my brothers and sister are out of school for the summer. We have been swimming every day. I love the water. Papa took Michael, Abbey and Wyatt boating on Saturday. I couldn't go, too little.
Abbey and Wyatt had their birthdays last week. Abbey turned 8 and Wyatt 9. I got to have some of their cake. Yum, Yum!!!

My first memorial day 2008

I love this baby food stuff. Much better than milk every day of my life. I especially like the bananas. The meat and veggies are good to.
I am starting to move around a little, I can turn myself around in circles on my stomach. And I love my bouncy chairs, they are way cool!!!!!

Zoo atlanta

My first trip to the zoo today. I saw the baby panda and the baby gorillas. Mom, dad and I went with Michaels class on a field trip.


Yesterday was mom's 36th birthday. We got her an ice cream cake from brusters.
Wyatt got his blue belt last weekend as well.



I am now eating lots of baby food. Yum, yum. And I love all of my jumpy chairs, they are fun.

Spring 2008

Mommy is feeding me lots of good food now. And pop sneaks in some ice cream for me. I love to jump on the trampoline with poppy and my brothers and sisters. I also like to ride on dad's shoulders in the grocery store. It is cool being up high. We have been outside a lot now that the weather is nice. I love to watch and listen to the birds out back.

Spring Break 2008

I went on my first road trip last week. We went down to Orlando to see our cousins. Mom and dad drug me around to all of these so called theme parks. I went to Blizzard Beach water park, Disneys Magic Kingdom, and Universal Islands of Adventure. Papa took me in the wave pool at blizzard beach. That was scary. We had dinner with some cousins and uncles and aunts while there.

I am getting stronger and can roll over very easily now. I also have a jumpy chair and super saucer to stand up in. Yesterday I jumped on the trampoline with Mike, Abs, Wyatt, and papa. That was funnnnnn!!!!!!!

Here is a pic of my new jumpy chair. As you can see, I am strong enough to hold my head up good now. Dad jumps with me on the trampoline, I love it. I get to go outside a lot more now. It is pretty here and the flowers are blooming. I get to go to florida soon. I am now 4 months old.
ETO moved into its new building last week. I can't wait to start.

Sitting up in my blue seat

Well, I have been a little slack in updating my blog. Cut me some slack, though, I'm only 3 1/2 months old!!!
I am eating a little fruit now. Or should I say drinking it smoothie style. Yum!!!
We had a tornado come through here this week, it was a bit scary.

Mom and dad took us to the park Sunday. We had lunch and went for a walk.
I have this cool blue chair I sit in now. It's nice not having to lay down all the time or be held.
Pop has been taking me outside to play with the kids this week. It is spring time and the birds are flying around and chirping. Kind of neat.
Anyway, spring break is coming up. I wonder where we will go?

Emmas birthday

I went to my cousin Emma's 2nd birthday yesterday. It was awfully loud. I tried to talk, but my little voice was not loud enough I think. Michael, Abbey and Wyatt got some electric scooters from uncle Jaceson. Anyway, I have been talking up a storm this week. I am starting to figure out this English language thing. It snowed here again and it is march. Pretty weird. Abbey and Wyatt let me lick on some fruit snacks of theirs. Those were good!!!!

Sick Boy

Well, I haven't been feeling well this week. My head is stuffy and my stomach hurts. :(
Mom has socks on my hands because I keep scratching myself on the head. Mom and dad took me for a hike at Kennesaw mountain today. It was cool.

Rolling Over

I am getting stronger every day. I can roll over from my tummy to my back now. I just wish I could stand up and walk. I am tired of laying down or being held all the time.
I went to watch Michaels gymnastics meet today. He did not do very well.
We celebrated Mike's birthday last weekend. He turned 9.

Shots

I got 4 shots yesterday. Not that big of a deal. Papa took me out on the trampoline with Mike, Abs, and Wy. They are a bunch of maniacs. We ate at Poohs palace today. Boy, I love the smell of that place, yummy food I bet. Michael got an Xbox for his bday. All they do is play Halo.

No shots

I lucked out last week and mom forgot to take me to the doctor. I would have received some painful shots. Thanks mom. Dad hurt his leg in Tae Kwon Do and was sick all night thursday. He lost 9 lbs in one night. Wow, that is over half my body weight. Anyhow, my brother Michael is now 9 years old officially.
Michael and Wyatt and dad went out 4 wheeling without me last weekend. It is no good being little, I miss out on the fun stuff.

2 Months Old

Well, I made it through my first 2 months. I now weight 15 lbs. I heard mom and dad talking about a doctors appointment this week and some shots. I don't like shots.
Dad and I watched the super bowl tonight. The NY Giants upset the New England Patriots 17-14 to keep them from going undefeated. Eli Manning won the championship a year after his brother did.
Michael did not watch the game with us. He was sick. Throwing up all night the night before.

Getting BIGGG

I am growing like a weed. I am already bigger than my cousin Rebeca who is older than me. Recently I have been playing jokes on dad by spitting up on him when he tries to burp me. LOL. Nana came up to visit me last weekend as did grandma and grandpa. They got some fried fish from the Oyster Cafe that smelled great.

Pooped on mom

I told mom I would get her back for that circumcision deal at birth, so tonight I pooped in the bathtub with her. Papa thought it was pretty funny. I have been playing a game where I coo at dad but not mom. She is getting perturbed I think. Zoe, Ethan, Kendall, Courtney and Emma came over to visit yesterday.

Cooing

Papa was making some funny sounds at me today, so I started making them back. Mom and dad got a big kick out of that. I don't know what the big deal is, do they think I can't talk. :)
Anyway, I heard mom telling her sister that I was cooing.

Snowy days are here

I got to see my first real snow. How cool. Dad said it had not snowed in GA for about 5 years other than when he made some with the snow machine last winter. Abbey, Wyatt, and Michael played in it for a couple of hours. I am proud to say I can now drink 8 ounces per sitting. Dad and Michael took me for a walk around the block this week.

12 lbs

Well, after a month, I am 12 lbs. I have increased my body weight by 25%. Dad took me to the park this week. I am getting out more. I have been to the park, a chinese restaurant, poohs palace, and the grocery store.

Smiling

Pop took us to the park today. I slept most of the time. I am starting to smile a lot now for mom and dad. They think it is so cute.

2008

Well, it's another year now. I am growing like a weed dad says. My aunt Melanie and cousins Tres, Tristan, Garrett and Gavin came over to visit today. Nana was with them as well. It is very cold today. 18 degrees F. We can't use our snow making machine because of the water ban.
