5 years Old

We ate baby goat zelda the other day. He was yummy. That was my first time eating goat. My buddy Brendans parents helped us butcher him. It is winter here so I have played in the snow a little, but mostly stay inside where it is warm. Wyatt, Pa and I play halo 4 and battle each other. I am still learning to read and write. Pa says I am behind where my brothers and sisters were at my age, but not a big deal.

Another Thanksgiving

I got to play at Brendans house for hours the other night while pa watched the fights. We went crazy and I got to see Lad, one of Mia's puppies. Not much going on here, just reading every day. We had some snow last week, but it all melted. Pa said we are going to see Red Dawn this weekend. It looks awesome. We might move to New Zealand or Chile since a radical muslim communist got reelected to the white house. My poor country is in big trouble.

Reading Lessons Again

Pa made me start on my reading lessons again after 2 months off. I guess he was too busy the last 2 months. He and his friend Joe started building the Great Stone Wall of Stevi. It is solid.

I saw Kincaid last month at a birthday party. It was fun. Mommy just got back from Atlanta again. She goes there all the time.

We only have 1 puppy left, Blacky. My favorite song now is Opa Gangnam Style.

Smoky Summer

We have not been able to see our mountains for 6 weeks because of terrible smoke coming from fires in Idaho. They had to evacuate parts of Hamilton last week. Very bad.

Pa took us camping up at burnt fork lake last weekend. I loved it. I got all muddy. I wanted to swim but the lake was colddddd. Michael shot some birds and ducks to eat for dinner and breakfast. Pa forgot the rain fly for the tent and what do you know, it rained a little.

Pa got this awesome truck. A 1959 Ford F600 2 ton for getting rocks. I love it. It is so cool.

Great Dane Puppies

Bailee had her puppies, 11 of them. Most are mearl, but 3 are black. They are much bigger than the yorkie puppies. Pa, michael, wyatt and I have been collecting rocks from the mountains to build a stone wall with. We usually get to swim in the river on the way home to cool off. Fun!!!

Other than that, it has been a pretty quiet summer. Very hot at times, but not too bad. We have had some crazy winds, that is for sure. Our whole chicken coop got blown over.

Trip to Utah

We just got back from our trip to Utah. I had a blast camping and hiking. We hiked the Virgin Narrows in zion and some other box canyons. We got to eat lots of ice cream and junk food too. I hiked to a rock cairn field in Bryce which was neat too. I met some new friends named Silas, Nicholas and Jackson. We had fun in the desert sun. Bailee had 11 puppies last week. They are big for puppies. We also picked up another yorkie down in St George Utah. So we named him George. He is sweet. I guess now that we are back, I'll have to start my reading lessons again. :(

Baby Puppies and Goats

We have 2 baby goats, a boy and a girl now. They are so cool to play with. They chase me around the backyard. And I help mommy feed them out of a bottle. We also have baby yorkie puppies from Mia. I love to hold the puppies. They are so tiny. Mia is a good mom and protects them. Pa got us a new trampoline, so we play on it every day. I love to jump. I am up to lesson 50 in my reading lesson book. Getting better every day.

Learning to Read

I am on lesson 40 now in my reading book. Pa says I am getting faster and faster. It is cool, I can read signs around town now. I made a new friend. His name is Brendan. We play all the time now. Dad still takes me up to school now and then to play with the kids at recess. I think he just wants to go to play football with Wyatt, but I have fun too.

 We went up in the mountains yesterday and played in the snow. We were trying to get to Burnt Fork lake to fish but there was too much snow on the road. It has been warm in the valley, the 80's this week. The willow trees and apple trees are blooming and the grass is green. We'll probably go tubing down the river soon.

 Mia is due with puppies soon and Goat and Vanilla are due with baby goats soon as well. I can't wait to bottle feed the little goats. Dad barbecued some rabbits last week that were delicious. And he figured out a good rabbit jerky recipe. Oh, and dad launched a new site this week. www.dependonafriend.com , check it out.

Warm Already

It was 70 degrees here yesterday in early March. We played down in the river. The water is freezing, but it was fun.

I am on lesson 27 in my learn to read book. It is quite challenging, but pa keeps pushing me. Abbey bred her yorkie this week with someone elses dog. Mia is so cute. Pa and I have been going up to play with Wyatt and his pals at recess a lot. I love going to the playground.

We looked at a cool stone house to buy/rent last week. It was cool.

Max Turns 1

Our great dane Max turns 1 pretty soon. Mommy is going to breed him with Baylee to get some baby great danes. Montana is a great place to breed animals. Max is way bigger than baylee now. He is a handsome dog.

We have almost 30 rabbits now. Time to eat some more this month. Both of our goats are due in May. Mom said she will make as much ice cream as I want with the goat milk. woo hoooooo.

I am 3 weeks into learning to read. I think dad is getting frustrated. I can't remember all of my first sounds. I always forget A and D. It is pretty hard to me. Just saying.

Learning To Read

Well it is official, I am learning to read. Pa started the BOOK with me this week. Teach Your Child To Read In 100 Easy Lessons. I think I have been frustrating him, but I don't like to sit still. So far I have learning A, E, M, S, T sounds. Writing is a lot harder than it looks, I must say.

I got to play with clay the other day at moms pottery class. I was supposed to go play with Cade, but he was sleeping. We are halfway through January and no snow on the ground at all. Our bunnies had more babies this week. We have bunnies all over the place.

Pa takes me to play at the school park sometimes. I love that park. It is so funnnnnn.

Oh and I almost forgot. I am 4 now. That is quattro for those who don't know english. We had cupcakes and birthday cake.
